About Michelle Ryder
Michelle Ryder is an experienced educator, art teacher and creative facilitator with a genuine passion for helping people discover confidence, connection and joy through creativity.
With a background in both teaching and the arts, Michelle understands that creativity is about so much more than making something beautiful. It is a powerful tool for self-expression, personal growth, learning and wellbeing. She believes that everyone is creative and that art provides a safe and enjoyable way for people of all ages to explore their ideas, emotions and imagination.
Throughout her career, Michelle has worked with children, teenagers and adults, supporting individuals to develop skills, confidence and a love of learning in a positive and encouraging environment. Her warm and welcoming approach helps people feel comfortable to try new things, build resilience and enjoy the creative process without fear of judgement.
At Think Purple H’artspace, Michelle is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive space where people can relax, connect with others and experience the many benefits of creativity. Whether it is through painting, mixed media, creative exploration or simply sharing a conversation over a cuppa, she believes that art has the ability to bring people together and enrich lives.
Michelle is passionate about fostering a sense of belonging and community and loves seeing people grow in confidence as they discover their own unique creative voice. Her goal is for everyone who walks through the doors of Think Purple H’artspace to feel welcomed, supported and inspired to create, connect and be themselves.
“Creativity belongs to everyone. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy the benefits of making, exploring and expressing yourself.” – Michelle Ryder
